| Quote: | i put on my hellwig swaybar saturday and new brakes and rotors all around (slotted and drilled).
love the amazing difference the swaybar makes. i am getting a little movement in the steering wheel when i apply brakes. don't know why. i torqued all lugs to 155 ft. pds. when finished.
anybody got any ideas?
finding it hard to get amsoil locally off the shelf. any help with this too? |
Did you lube the sliders on the calipers? They may be a little dry and "catching" when applying the brakes.
Regarding AMSOIL -- locally they sold 15W40 but I use 5W30 heavy duty synthetic in my X, and they never carry that locally. I always order it. Pretty quick ship time to MN from their warehouse in WI. Should be a coupla days for you as well. Make sure to pay for a yearly "membership" on their site so you get a good price. It makes a considerable difference in cost.
