Does anyone know if you can buy the metal piece that holds the plug for the trailer wiring harness. (the part you plug your lights into). I guess it would be called the bracket for the hitch plug?? Mine is bent and the female part for the plug is cracked from being run into by someone. I am currently trying to take it off. (rusted bolt)!! Anyway I was wondering if anyone here has replaced the bracket and where they bought it from. Thanks.COACH.

I would try the local Ford dealer or a parts store. The rear bumper and wiring harness was replaced on my Excursion after someone backed into it several months ago...so I know the parts are out there! The body shop took care of ordering the parts though...I'm sure they are through Ford.

Funny same thing happened to me. As big as these trucks are people still back in to them. I just painted my whole hitch and will one day get a new bracket and the female plug that is attached. If you get part #'s and or prices post them for every one else.

I don't understand how people keep hitting my X. It's been hit 3 times while it's been parked. It looks like it was swiped in the parking lot AGAIN this week.
