So, tell us about your new home on the islands. Have you got your truck yet? I have heard gas is thru the roof there, give us the scoop.

Nope. I'm here!
I moved 2 weeks ago. My truck is still in MA.  But, then again, so is my family and they are a hell of a lot more important. All should be here in June though! 
Gas on the "street" is 2.25 a gallon of 87 and 2.12 for diesel. I get gas at the local Costco Warehouse (Like BJ's & Sam's Club) for 1.97. It is projected to begin to drop here soon. Estimamtes are calling for a .30 drop with the next few months.
I am considering a diesel Jetta but am having a hard time with the German car thing. Plus, a guy yesterday offered up his 2000 XLT Ex. with PSD and 22K on it. It is just like mine er...well how mine used to look new. I'm still contemplating. I'd have to start the mods all over... 
Here's a picture of my house in case you wanted to see it...Awesome ocean views! It is about 1300 ft above sea level and located in Kailua-Kona.
