It looks like I'm going to use Autozone for the actual ball joint (they have the press). The seals will come from Ford/NAPA (in my town the NAPA is in the Ford dealership). This way the dealership will install the shaft seals. So my questions are around tool and Autozone parts. Has anyone done this without air-tools? Has anyone used the Autozone Duralast balljoints? Problems, quality issues? Will I need to buy/rent a fork for the tie-rod ends? What size socket is required for the ball joint installation. Thanks in advance.
