Seeing as how ART has been very unresponsive to me, I started looking around for other brake manufacturers. Has anybody ever tried a set of http://www.brake-pros.com/brakepros.asp?action=submit&make_id=10&model_id=491&sYear=2002

That's a nearly $4,000 brake upgrade. That's in a whole other league than just slotted rotors like ART provides. Brake Pros also requires an 18" or larger wheel. Excursions come with 16" wheels. Add on another $2500 for a new wheel/tire package, plus the $4,000 brakes, and it's a $6,500 upgrade. I'm sure they outperform standard size rotors and calipers but you're basically comparing apples and oranges here...unless of course they sell regular size rotors separately.

Speaking of new rims, I don't know of many places that sell nice aftermarket rims for the X. Anybody know of any?
