Eric, how can we go about trying to arrange for a group purchase price? There are probably lots of different items that everyone here either already have or would love to have and the only problem is price. Is this something that you arrange for or does someone at SF have to do this? Thanks!

Mikie,
How it has worked in the past is I have contacted a company asking them if they have any type of group purchase program. If they do, I find out the quantities and report back. Typically, the higher priced the item, the easier it is to get a group purchase with fewer people. On things like shocks, you have to purchase quantities in the hundreds.
If it is an item that applies to SuperDuty's as well, then we have a little more leverage because it can also apply to the rest of the folks that have SuperDuty trucks on SuperFord.org.
I guess the next best thing would be to figure out what it is that everyone wants and who I should try contacting!

Well then how about we get a survey out there to the folks on the various applicable boards and create a wish-list? If anything comes up as particularly more wanted than others then we could try to arrange a group buy on it. It's a thought.
