I have a X with a 10" Lift and a set of Parnelli Jones Dirt Grip 36x14.50x16.5 and am unable to get the right tire pressure and is frustrating me! Origanally was running 50lbs front 50lbs rear, then I noticed the centers of the rears were wearing real fast so I lowered the rears to 40lbs but they still seem to be wearing fast and the front look brand new still? I figure the fronts need to stay at 50lbs since the wear looks great but the backs I havent a clue! Can they go down to 30lbs and be ok for the street? Also how often should I rotate them and whats the lug torque specs? Thanks again for the help from everyone!

Charles,

Correct lug nut torque spec is: 150-165 ft-lbs

With regards to tire pressure -- look on the sidewalls of the tires and see what the recommendations are. 50 lbs seems high to me on tires that are that large. I've only personally owned tires as large as 35" and always aired them up to 35 psi for street driving. Try yours at 35 psi. You won't do them any harm by test-driving at different pressure levels starting about 30 psi and moving up. Typically at about 10-15 psi is where you run the risk of separating the tire from the rim. Just pay attention to sidewall flex and you should be able to find a good pressure by messing around a bit.

I'd rotate those tires every 5-7,500 miles. Those are pretty big tires, I hope you have big arms for lifting them onto the lugs each time you rotate them.
