Low speed turns, apply throttle and it sounds like the limited slip is grabbing harder on one side than the other. I would guess the clutch pack is beginning to go, its only under a load, not while coasting. Any one else have early issues with a 10.25 sterling full floater? I would assume sterling is bullet-proof, but I guess it could have its flaws. Any advise? |

The sterling rearends are bullet-proof...limited slips are not. The limited slip can be replaced if it is going bad -- how many miles do you have on the vehicle? Is it under warranty?

It is out of factory warranty, and it appears to be the limited slip. Upon learning more about the 10.25, I have been told by diff specialists that using the ford synthetic viseon fluid can help stop clutch chatter from the limited slip. So, it looks like i am just going to have the LS re-built because its soo cheap once they are in there already. |
