I've added a Edelbrock Performer intake w/Holley 670 Carb,
Summit .484/.510" 204/214* Hyd Cam & CompCams valve springs,
JP billet timing chain, Pertronix ignition and hi-voltage coil; Motorcraft 7mm wires and Autolite platinum sparkplugs;

18 & 20" Coys C-5 polished wheels and Nexen 3000 tires;
front discs & rear drums (stock);
2.5" mandrel bent stainless exhaust w/Magnaflow X-pipe & Magnaflow 4X9X18" stainless mufflers exiting behind the wheels. |

I purchased this car from the original owner in Washington state in August 2006; It was exceptionally clean and 99% original; I got most of the original documentation including the "letter of Acceptance" dated 04 Jan 1973!
I installed the wheels & tires, cam, intake, 4 barrel carb, timing chain, a rebuilt distributor with a digital ignition, coil, plugs & wires, and dual exhaust.
Unfortunately, this car was destroyed in March 2006; It was rear-ended while parked on the street in front of my house. While not a very rare car, there were only 309 Ranchero's painted this color in1973. |

spare tire: G78-14 Goodyear Polyglass bias ply; not sure if this is the original spare tire, I thought Goodyear didn't make the polyglass tires until later in the 70's

the cast iron 2 barrel intake manifold has been removed and a new cam, lifters, pushrods, springs, seals & locks have been installed without removing the heads;
notice the yellow "OK" stamp on the head casting, which has survived after all these ...
