Anyone know of a good mechanic in the south Seattle area? I'm getting what i think is an exorbitant price of $650. The hoses are less than $100 at napa and I think $550 in labor is a bit stiff for replacing three hoses. Any thoughts.

Danielle,
What does an hour cost for shop time in your area? That would be nearly 12 hours of work here in MN. Did the mechanic explain the procedure involved in replacing the line? Unfortunately I am not familiar with the placement of the power steering lines on a Contour. Regardless, 10-12 hours does seem excessive.
