Weld a cat or muffler to this fine collector pipe and you'll get one use of this pipe for all time. Now weld a 3" header collector flange, as placed on the 3" end of the pipe, and you're choices are limitless.

State of the trans was told by the fluid in the pan. Not bad for a used car with almost 100 k on it, I'm fairly happy. It should be stated that after the fluid and filter change the trans shifted noticeably better.

That's the best shot I could get of the little "tangs" on the terminal clips. You get four terminal clips with the connector, but you should be able to re-use your stock wires as they don't seem to deteriorate like the connector does.

This is the 3" Catco cat I always use. It's a 3 stage, stand alone cat with an air pipe to hook up to the air pump. No it's not stainless and no it's not highflow, but it's $40 and..... Newsflash ! 3" cats flow an awful lot more than 2" units.

After it's sound beating, the "modified" bracket now only requires an 1/8" clearance grinding(marked in white paint) to allow the use of it's adjustment slot with the 3G alternator.

I always glue these gaskets onto the filter with a little Permatex UltraCopper, just to make sure they stay on during re-assembly.

This is how you get the broken plastic vacuum line out of the angled rubber vacuum boot. Just screw in a sharp drywall stud screw and pull on it and out pops the broken plastic line. Then you can slip the boot over the shorter line, no vacuum leak !

There's that beautiful, though very conspicuous, MSD coil up front and proud of it. Maybe a give it a shot of black paint to conceal it's identity ?

The stock temp sensor was clocked right over the T-stat housing. Using a 1" deep socket I just tightened the stock temp sensor tower so it pointed slightly to the left and I was back in business.

All back together on the passenger's side. The driver's side took 10 minutes compared to the two hours I spent messing around on this side. Note the properly repaired air pump diverter valve vacuum hose boot ! No more vacuum leak.

To mount it between the A/C condenser and the grill, in the airflow, you need as much access as you can get for the install. This cover needs to come off.
