I am going to lift the front of my vehicle to level it out. I'm not sure if I should use a hanger kit or replace the spring pack. Does anyone have any input in this matter? Ideally I'm looking for the most stable lift and I would like to maintain the same ride!

Agreed. The safest way to lift the front end of the vehicle is with a larger spring pack which means you'll need new leaf springs. Ford makes several different leaf springs for the front ends of SuperDuty's you could easily find the proper set and stick with OEM parts.

You can level your truck in many ways. There are several shackle lifts and several spring lifts out there to choose form. If you want to retain a stock ride and a level look, go with a shackle kit.
You will love the look and ride.
I have leveled mine and can send you a link to my truck if you want.

Kieth,
I have a 1999 F-350 Crew Cab Long Bed with the 7.3 litre diesel. I leveled mine with a kit from "Tuff Country" about two years ago. A 2 1/2" kit included the replacement springs, shackles and all the hardware necessary to level the truck. I replaced the shocks at the same time and the total installation time was approximately 6 hours. I would strongly suggest having the front re-aligned afterwards as all the geometry will change. I also installed heavier springs with this kit as I use it to plow my 1/2 mile long driveway. Everything has worked great and the ride was not compromised at all. The look is awesome and it plows much better!!! The total kit with shocks was $ 459.00 in 2001 dollars. I give "Tough Country" high praise for their kit. You might also consider their heavy duty steering dampner at the same time?? It couldn't hurt. . . .
