I am a ford owner, this might not be that significant, but i have a 1977 f-100 ranger. It is a family truck, my mom had it then my father and now i drive it. It is so fun to drive, and i wouldnt have it any other way (except this 91 bronco II my dad bought a while back *crosses fingers*). My father is a Ford man and he has an explorer and an f150 both 1994s. His buddy had a wrecked 98 f150 so he put it in the 94 and he is thinking about putting the old 302 in the explorer hehe. My girlfriends family is the same way, my father and her family have owned fords and chevys, and like both but if come down to it, they'd rather have em an OL' blue oval. They own mazdas and land rovers because they know a little better too. My truck has an 85' mustang 302 in it. Holley 650 4 barrell secondary manual double pumper with inline gauge. Mustang heads, new freon system, this truck is in good shape for it's year. Port polish and an oversized cam. Carb has been modified for powervalve blow outs too. The transmission has been tweaked a bit. A line to the radiator cooler for the transmission leaked all my fluid out and stalled the old truck. I sat and waited and put more in to get down the road. I still drive it even though it needs a trans rebuild but i wasnt born yesterday, its a ford it'll run even though its broke. It has a roll bar and ram bar, and almost all the crome is in tacked. It has the light blue cab and dark blue body factory paint job, which it needs a new one of those BTW. I hope everyone is interested in some pics i may put on here, and i hope you enjoyed my intro, though i have lots more to tell you about my old TRUCK. :-) |
