Yo Gang,
Anyone know the Torx Socket Size for a 97 F150 Seat Mount? It's the bolt in the back along th floor; holds down a long rod running across back of seat near floorboard. Prob the rest of the seat mount bolts are same size.
It's for my son's 97; my torx socket set didn't have the size (up to 45).
Be well,
Al

I'm not at the same location as my tools right now but I believe I know what torx socket you're talking about. I think the seat belt mounts on the floor and by the shoulder harnesses use the same size. Any local parts store will carry this single bit -- I remember having to purchase mine in a single package, I think it might have even been labeled as a Ford torx bit, but it was some time ago. Bottom line, go to the parts store, they'll have it!

yo, Thanks E.
I'll stop by our local good-guy body shop and ask the owner for the size or a quickie unbolting. I doubt that we'll ever have to use the socket again after this. I am trying to halt our tool purchases mainly bec. I'm almost out of storage space indoors now and I hope to be able to pass em all down soon to my go to son.
