Hello Ford lovers . I am restoring a 79 F-150 Ranger XLT long bed. It's all stock except wheels from a later model. It has 302/AT cloth seat /no tears have all the chrome body is very straight,
But has sat in the sun to long and has gotten some surface rust. I 'm looking for a body shop close to Franklin TN. Also looking for club for Ford trucks. My son (16) has a 79 Bronco Ranger XLT
he's working on too.

Tony,

Our friends over at ford-trucks.com should be able to answer all of your questions about your '79 Ranger XLT as well as point you in the direction of a body shop. They've got a nice bunch of "truck guys" over there and Ford Truck Enthusiast clubs as well.

Good luck with the resto.
