I priced a 6" superlift from a local shop. They wanted about $1400 installed and it includes modified spindles, brake lines, full springs in back (not blocks), radius and pitman arms (or something like that) and a follow up check and adjustment after 7 days. Is this a good price or should i keep looking. As you can probably tell i've never bought a lift.

Don,
This sounds like a great deal. I would definitely go for it. Hope you have new tires and wheels budgeted, too. Can't have pizza cutters on your newly lifted rig!

That is a good price. I am curious about what you said about the spindles. What exactly are they doing? There is no need to do anything to the spindles. Nor can I think of what could be done to them if anything.

THAT PRICE SOUNDS GOOD. LAST I CHECKED SUPER LIFT DOES NOT MAKE 6" SPRINGS FOR THE BRONCO BUT THEY SELL THE 4" SPRINGS WITH THE 6" LIFT THAT IS WHAT HAPPEN WITH MINE IT WAS ONLY LOW BY ABOUT A 1" IN THE REAR. I DID NOT LIKE THAT SO I GOT A 2" BLOCK & REMOVED THE STOCK BLOCK MADE IT JUST RIGHT. AS FAR AS I'M CONCERNED SUPERLIFT IS THE BEST OUT THERE, I HAVE HAD IT ON MY BRONCO FOR TWO PLUS YEARS AND HAVE NOT SEEN ANY FULLSIZE DO BETTER FLEXING WITH OUT CUSTOM FABING. |

Appreciate the input. Looks like i'm going to have to go with it then.
On the spindles, It's my first lift purchase so the dealer might or might not have said something. I was asking him so many questions.
I'll have to go back and ask him about the 4"/6" spring question but if they are 4" then i'll probably do the same thing (2" block).
I've got some pretty decent tires but did ask about rim/tire packages. The ones i want are 35" semi aggresives with 15x10 alcoa's (I think that's how you spell it).
Thanks for all the advice. You people are great and so is this site.
