Quote: | I'd be happy to discuss the costs of running the site off-line to give you perspective on why we need to run ads. ... In February, things may change if we're able to hide ads for paying subscribers. | I might take you up on that when we both have some time, but I'm not sure I'll be able to appreciate all the considerations since I've never attempted to create or operate a website.Quote: | I do use TurboTax... | That's not what I was asking. The question was: Do you base decisions like that (what to spend your money on; whom to trust your personal information to) on gimmicky annoying advertising that you happen to see on an UNrelated website (i.e., the decision on tax preparation being based on a border ad on an image-hosting website)? Do you expect anyone else (with enough common sense to earn enough money to need tax software) would?
BTW
There's a bug on the EDIT DETAILS page for albums. When I go to my album list (http://www.supermotors.net/mygarage/index.php) and click the details link, the page loads with the MAKE field showing "Ford", but it's not actually selected, so the MODEL field shows "Select...". But when I pull the MODEL menu down, the only thing in it is "Select...", so I can't. I have to go back up to MAKE & toggle it, which automatically brings back the correct MODEL for that registry. But if I ignore it & try to click save, it throws an error saying there is no MODEL and I have to choose a MAKE first.

Looking into this in various browsers. We haven't modified this page in a while so it may be a browser-specific bug that we have to identify.
