“Samantha”1972 Ford Ranchero

The story

I found this original GT Q code Ranchero in North Georgia10 years ago. After purchasing it I started a full off frame Resto and never looked back. My wife calls it the other woman, thats why I named it Samantha. This was a factory ram air 4 speed car. (The Q code Rancheros are very rare nowdays. I looked for 20 years before I found one in restorable shape,and most of the origenial parts still there) this was also a special order w/ power seats,windows,radio antenia, and intermiton wipers. The mods made to the car have been done with care & in good taste. Heads, intake,carb, headers, msd box, the linclon LS power leather bucket seats, and the AWIA stereo thats amped & has custom speaker boxes in compartment behind the seats. I have saved all the origenial parts if I should ever wanted to sell or want to do a concours resto, but I dont see that ever happening In the future I still want to replace the original 14" Magnum 500 wheels with 17 or 18" Magnum 500's amd 45 series tires. Add a tinted slider rear window, and a nice factory rimblow wood grain steering wheel, and add a reciever trailer hitch. Samantha is a very quick ride. She runs heads up with the SVT lightning Pick ups and gets attention everywhere we go. — mlhtp55
