The story
This is a 1979 Thunderbird Town Landau. This car has been in the same family since it was purchased new at W.W. Wallwork in Fargo, ND back in 1979. You will have to look real hard to find a cleaner example of 79 T-Bird because this thing has been inside a garage its’ whole life and has a mere 9600 miles on the odometer.
As far as what features this Thunderbird has, the Town Landau is near the top of the ladder in terms of standard equipment. It has power windows, power locks, power seat, dual-remote mirrors, AC, PS, vinyl top, body-colored molding, and turbine rims w/gold inset (and original tires). For power it has a 351M instead of the standard 302.
This Thunderbird is currently for sale and would make a great addition to any car collection. This is probably one of the cleanest examples of a “survivor†1979 Thunderbird that you will ever find. — p-351
