Notes: |
Bought it from a younger guy and we de-pimped it. That guy or the guy before him had real duals custom bent front to back in stainless, including two mirror like stainless Zoomie mufflers and tailpipes that dang near touched the tank. Replaced the illegal (in our Province) exhaust system and de-tinted the windows and gave away the window rain lips. Traded the American TorqueThrust wheels to a guy restoring an AMX. In return he gave me 4 Mirada CMX Chrysler wheels and did all the work required to safety the car (good deal all round). |

20150428_134001[1].jpg 404 hits | 76.49 KB | Posted: 4/30/15 Not rocket science to add 10 inches of bigger pipe and lop off that three inches of 1 and seven eights restrictive pipe. It allows you to run not only any 2 and a quarter inch muffler, but also a later model B body tailpipe, which fits perfectly.
20150428_133948[1].jpg 392 hits | 70.25 KB | Posted: 4/30/15 You can see the restriction has been cut off and a 2 and a quarter inch extension welded onto the back of the cat pipe.

DSCF2789.JPG 672 hits | 78.35 KB | Posted: 7/14/13 Weld or get welded the 10 inch extension of full 2 1/4 inch exhaust pipe onto the back of the cat pipe, where you just lopped off the 3 inch long piece where it restricted the pipe down to 1 7/8 inch. This also makes up for the slightly shorter than ...

DSCF2806.JPG 461 hits | 44.54 KB | Posted: 7/14/13 This last three inches of the cat pipe is what you lop off. The cat pipe has been fully 2 1/4inch I.D. all the way up to the muffler, NOW it necks down to 1 7/8 inch pea shooter size. Uh uh, cut it off.
35125 B body.jpg 472 hits | 10.19 KB | Posted: 2/23/13 This little piece clamped to the top of your tailpipe, over the axle, and slips into your rubber hanger bracket attached to the floor. It's shorter than a stock M-body piece to allow the thicker tailpipe to tuck up higher. Walker #35125 for @ $1.39
40430 Canadian Y-pipe.jpg 592 hits | 12.98 KB | Posted: 2/23/13 Less than $75.00 gets you a Canadian Y-pipe with no pre cats that gets you from the manifolds to the cat in 2 1/4" pipe. Walker 40430
17713 walker.jpg 465 hits | 23.92 KB | Posted: 2/23/13 Hush Thrush, Dynomas or just plain Walker 17713. Turbo style 2 1/4" muffler with the correct M-body inlet/oulet offsets for under $20.00. Just a smidge shorter than stock.
