1986 BMW 3 Series

The story

Bought in June 2011 with unknown mileage; best guess is around 350,000 miles lol. Ran when purchased and had new tires, but needed extensive mechanical work to run reliably, including a gas tank! It's zinnoberot red and still shines bright after 26 years, though the body has many small dents and scratches. Interior has the original black vinyl sport seats and gray carpet, 2 cracks in the dash, electric sunroof, complete toolkit, and fully functional (with the exception of the odo) 325i gauges (7000rpm). The engine redlines at 4800rpm since its a 325e and the rpm gauge accurately displays this, which seems to surprise a lot of people apparently? Car also has 14" style 5 wheels and euro bumpers, though the previous owner bent the front one by hitting something and painted them black.

Aside from catching up on maintenance, the only modifications I've done to the car are mudflaps, leather shift and brake boots, leather shift knob, new head unit and speakers, dyed the parcel shelf black, and recoated/painted the rocker panels and spare tire well.
