1984 Mercury Grand Marquis

The story

Recently purchased in the Netherlands, good shape, but needs some work, especially on the TBI System.

After 2 months of repair and restoration efforts, the Grand Marquis has passed the German TÃœV inspection successfully and is now officially registered in Germany (see attached pics).

The fuel injection system now works well, the engine pulls strongly and unhesitatingly.

A new hood ornament has been installed.

A new pull strap on the inside of the driver's side door has been installed.

New "Mercury" and "Grand Marquis" emblems have been installed on the decklid.

New weatherstripping around the doors has been installed to end leakage in the rain.


Next on the agenda:

A new motor for the power window on the passenger side door.

A new motor for the power antenna.

Some welding and repainting around the trunk opening. — Mercjerry
