1957 Ford Ranchero
About the 1957–1959 Ford Ranchero
The Full-Size Ranchero from 1957–1959 blended Ford's full-size car styling with a pickup bed, and the builds here show exactly why they still turn heads — from a two-tone red and white '58 on wire wheels to a flame-decaled '59 rolling on chrome. You'll find Fairlane 500-trimmed examples, bold two-tone red and black interiors, classic tan bench seats, and everything from clean stock restorations to custom cruisers parked in driveways across the country.
The story
Buddies car that has been sitting for 12 years. Motor only has about 20 k on it. Asked me to get it running and found lots of issues. So I have decided to try and somewhat restore vehicle. By restore I mean fix floors, rockers, and fuel cell. After that it depends how much he wants to spend. I have taken this on because I have always wanted to take a car down to the chassis and go from there. We don't have huge expectations but it will be solid and a driver. Not sure how pretty it will be. — keller7622
