The 1973-1991 Square Body K5 Blazer was built for exactly the kind of abuse you'll see here, rigs like the '88 tearing through muddy trails, an '85 sunk axle-deep in a field, and a white '84 K5 picking its way down a wooded path with a camper shell up top. From two-tone paint jobs with off-road tires on an '89 to full-on mud machines, these pages show how owners actually use and build their Blazers.
