About the 1962-1964 Ford Galaxie
The 1962-1964 Ford Galaxie (Galaxie (1962-1964)) collection here captures these big Fords in every stage of life, from a sharp black '64 Galaxie 500XL cruising tree-lined roads to bare shells mounted on rotisserie lifts, rusty floorboards exposed and undercarriages getting prepped for a second chance. Whether it's a '63 sitting open with its engine bay gutted for a full restoration or a '62 interior showing decades of honest wear on its seats and door panels, these owner photos document the real work that goes into saving these machines.

The story
One owner for 38 years! Inherited by his grandson who sold it to a 60's Ford enthusiast whom we bought it from. He had the 390 professionally rebuilt. Car is in great original shape. Needs minor body work and a paint job. A real sweet heart! The family hot rod. · BigDonkey
