Chevy 454, replaced intake manifold gasket as the previous owner had used gasket sealer ands the gas ate it up. Opened the motor up and cleaned and primped. Replaced all electrical equipment on the motor and got a spark. Timing was 180 off. |

Got this as a trashed boat. It's a 21' jet boat with a massive motor sitting in the rear. Sat outside for 10 years. Labor of love. Dad(Charlie) died April 23rd and would have loved to go fishing on this so I named it after him. Replacing floor, interior, got motor working and it sounds awesome. Thru the hull exhaust, and working on the floor right now as you read this. May be done this weekend. (5/21-22/05) Been trying to find used boat parts or a boat salvage yard but to no avail. There HAS to be places like that what with all the boats trashed in the Florida hurricanes. Any ideas or help would be very much appreciated. |
