The 1993 Acura Legend belongs to the second-generation Legend (KA7 sedan, KA8 coupe) produced from 1991 to 1995, and 1993 was the year the coupe adopted the higher-output Type II version of the 3.2L C32A SOHC 24-valve V6, rated at 230 horsepower (net) against the 200 horsepower (net) of the sedan. The longitudinally mounted V6 drove the front wheels; the L and LS sedans used a four-speed automatic, while the 1993 coupe received a standard six-speed manual transmission.
