The 1985 Chevrolet Impala was the final year of the downsized 1977-85 generation and the last Impala until the nameplate returned on the 1994 Impala SS. Positioned as the value full-size below the Caprice Classic, it adopted the new 4.3L V6 as its base engine, with the 305 small-block V8 optional.
