The 2012 Dodge Durango was the second year of the unibody third generation, sharing its platform with the Jeep Grand Cherokee and built at Jefferson North Assembly in Detroit. The 290 horsepower 3.6 liter Pentastar V6 was standard, with the 360 horsepower, 390 pound-foot 5.7 liter Hemi optional. Three rows seated up to seven, and Hemi models were rated to tow 7,400 pounds.
