Fiat 124 Spider

1967 Fiat 124 Spider Specs & Photos

The 1967 Fiat 124 Spider is a first-series (AS) two-seat convertible built on Fiat's 124 platform, with a monocoque body designed and manufactured by Pininfarina to a Tom Tjaarda design. It used a 1438 cc (1.4 L) Lampredi double-overhead-cam inline-four rated at about 90 hp (DIN), driving the rear wheels through a five-speed manual gearbox. The 1967 124 Spider carried the AS-series torque-tube driveline that was revised in later model years, and used four-wheel disc brakes.
