The 2008 Ford Focus received a heavy North American restyle on the existing platform, trimming the range to a four-door sedan and a new two-door coupe. The 2.0-liter Duratec four was revised to 140 horsepower, and the interior was redesigned. The 2008 Focus was among the first Ford models offered with the Microsoft-developed SYNC voice-control system.
