The 2013 Ford Focus added the ST, the first turbocharged factory performance Focus sold in North America. Its turbocharged 2.0-liter EcoBoost four produced 252 horsepower and 270 lb-ft, offered only with a six-speed manual and the five-door body. The ST was a single global specification, built for North America at Michigan Assembly alongside the standard range.
