Lexus RX300
2002 Lexus RX300 Specs & Photos
The 2002 Lexus RX300 is a first-generation RX (XU10 platform, MCU-series chassis), a mid-size luxury crossover built on a Camry-derived unibody. It used the 3.0L 1MZ-FE V6, a DOHC 24-valve engine with VVT-i rated at 220 horsepower (net), paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission driving the front wheels or an available full-time all-wheel-drive system. Offered only as a five-door, five-passenger wagon, the 2002 RX300 was a carryover of the facelifted first generation, which had received revised front and rear styling for the 2001 model year before the RX330 replaced it after 2003.
