I'm going to try brake fluid to remove the spray paint from the plastic centers. Paint stripper damages the clear plastic, but I can use it on the chrome later.

UPDATE:
Turns out brake fluid fogs the clear plastic, too, and it doesn't really strip this paint. So since they're already ruined, I tested them with real paint stripper...
