View showing the rubber shroud that was installed. The original one was missing. I'm not sure what exactly this does. Perhaps it forces fresh outside air to pass through the radiator, rather than being bypassed, by sucking air in from the large hole that exists just above and in front of the radiator when not covered, (see the first picture above,) which would be the engine compartment's ambient air temperature --surely warmer.
