With the power off, the carriage can be slid fully to the LEFT (since I've decided to route the tubes out the RIGHT) to pull the tubes as far as they'll ever need to go and then clip it into place on the RIGHT side Slide it back to the RIGHT and then set the clip on the LEFT to hold the tubes up, but still allow full carriage movement. I didn't like the provided clips because they're bulky and they didn't even fit right These don't look great, but they fit MUCH better for what I wanted to do.
