Parnelli Jones with the #98 Cougar Group II prototype. This car was built at Ford's Allen Park Michigan prototype facility using the new Shelby Cougar accesories. It later was modified by Bud Moore and became a Trans Am race car on the 1967 team. Its most famous race was the final race of the 1967 Trans Am season where Dan Gurney drove the car to a second place finish despite a shattered windshield and various other problems at Kent, Washington.
