before i really started modifying. actually the only difference is you need to remove the original tbird caliper bracket if you are using the stock mustang brakes instead of the tbird discs (mine is an SVO so it already has 5 lug disc brakes instead of the tbird 4 lug) and shorten the quad shock mount. if you do not have a quad shock you can just leave that alone!
