Wires to the back of the switches. I'm bad about making really messy "Y" connections that look like they'll fall apart and start a fire at any time, so I got an extra box of female spade connectors made for larger wire (the yellow ones) and tried to do things a little nicer this time. The smaller wire with the red spade connectors is too short for comfort (and also lighter-gauge than the others) and will be replaced one of these days.
