Fabrication work in progress on a rear crossmember: a heavy box-tube bumper with freshly welded gusseted shackle/link mounts and a threaded tube end, tacked to a stripped frame under a red body tub. Bare steel offcuts, a spring-loaded clamp and extension cords lie on the shop floor around it.
