The 1995 Nissan 240SX introduced the second-generation S14 chassis, wider and longer than the S13 it replaced. In North America it was sold only as a notchback coupe, with no hatchback or convertible, powered by the 2.4L KA24DE DOHC inline-four rated at 155 hp (net) through a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic. The SE trim added 16-inch alloy wheels, stiffer suspension, and a rear anti-roll bar, with a viscous limited-slip differential available as part of an optional package.
