The lower plate for the 4th left body mount is nearly gone, and the rubber is collapsing so all the mounts need to be changed to black Energy poly.Parts $200, labor $260...

The water pump was leaking from its first gasket at the top. Later, a pressure test showed seeping from the thermostat gasket, so they were replaced. Both nuts for the misfire sensor shield were over-tightened (probably when the water pump was replaced) and required extra effort to separate. After sandblasting it (& the water pump bolts & backplate), the broken tab on the heater return hose was welded back on. The heater core was backflushed, as was the block. The water pump was leaking from its first gasket at the top. Later, a pressure test showed seeping from the thermostat gasket, so they were replaced. Both nuts for the misfire sensor shield were over-tightened (probably when the water pump was replaced) and required extra effort to separate. Both rubber elbows in the VMV line were degraded, and this one is collapsing under engine vacuum. Both were replaced with emissions hose....

Both engine mounts were broken (as usual), so fabricated polyurethane mounts were swapped in. That also got the exhaust off the crossmember....

The fuel float had filled with gas (it was empty when the pump was replaced several months ago), so rather than install another hollow float that might sink, a solid foam float was swapped in....

The A/C leak seems to have been from the high-side fitting. The (abandoned) alarm speaker was removed so a water bottle can be stored near the radiator until the timing cover gasket can be replaced....

The driver's armrest was tightened with a strip of low-friction tape. The passenger armrest was bolted back on, with the driver's cover....

Even after straightening & lubricating the remote control, it still wouldn't move smoothly, which was due to the rusted coil spring. Sandblasting removed the roughness, and a tiny strip of low-friction tape made it slick enough to work....
