351w, Edelbrock Performer Intake and Carb, MSD Coil (used ot have a ignition too but it has since failed and I don't have the time to replace or troubleshoot it), racing cam (Seemed like a good idea at the time, but, oh well, a different one to come soon with more low end grunt), shorty headers connected to the 3" exhaust all the way back.
Drivetrain:
Stock C6 Transmission, Dana44 TTB in the front end with a Detroit TrueTrac, in the rear is a Ford 9" with a Detroit Locker, they both are running 4.56 gears.
Notes:
This thing was $300 bone stock and with a blown engine. Over the past few years, its gotten a new engine, 6" of lift, 36" swampers, CO2 onboard, Winch, dual batteries, parallel electrical system for running all of the accessories, lights, winch, stereo, etc. Also I made a custom wiring harness for the charging system and it is using a 3g alternator from a 96 Mustang. I have put in one of the few remaining Smittybuilt rollbars in the country. It has a locking box in the rear, along with a seperate gun safe and a locking console up front for the stereo and other stuff. Future plans include putting my headliner back in, finishing the stereo, changing out the lights, running down some of the electrical gremlins, custom seat brackets so I can put in better bucket seats and not kill my back when I am wheeling. Its a demon but god its fun to drive. Too bad it only gets 8Mpg. Oh, and its been in the air both on road and off road situations. Tim Bevers http://www.beversfamily.com
