1984 Ford Bronco - homemade tool to remove axle pivot bushings 1984 Ford Bronco - 12" length of 1/2" all-thread, 2.5" I.D. x0.25" thick pipe collar, 1/2" thick metal plate, 13/16" impact socket, nuts and large washers 1984 Ford Bronco - Insert all-thread into bushing, place socket on side of bushing without metal lip (shown reversed in pic) 1984 Ford Bronco - place collar on other side, then plate and attach nuts&washers 1984 Ford Bronco - tighten nuts on both sides until they stop (100-120 ft.lbs.) 1984 Ford Bronco - give a sharp blow with hammer, re-tighten nuts if needed 1984 Ford Bronco - bushing will "pop" loose 1984 Ford Bronco - reverse tool to install new bushing using washer under socket, hammer used only to keep bushing straight
