I had also inquired earlier with the Landyot about the radius rods. I will probably place an order with him but am waiting to get some other quality issues worked out with F--d before I make any modifications. I'm not yet wanting to cut into any suspension areas in case something with my 03 doesn't work out and they want it back. Even after the Bilsteins, sway bar and steering gearbox adjustment I'm still out here just wandering around alittle. In March I'm heading to Florida, so by the time I get back with stronger arm muscles from adjusting the wheel I may be ready for the upgrade. By the way Landyot, don't let the little lady talk you out of your little (maybe not so little) manufacturing process. |

I've started another batch since it looks like the wedding won't be until July, AND because people are still asking for the radius-rods. I won't be making this batch as fast as I did the last one ... have some other stuff to handle in the near future ... but more ARE coming. I may start offering polyurethane bushings in the future, but that hasn't been finalized yet. I'll let y'all know if that becomes a reality.
I want to thank y'all, too! I really appreciate the kind words & testimonies posted here! But more than that, I'm glad to help y'all enjoy your Excursions more. |

Hey Landyot I had emailed you earlier in the week. I have the check in hand and I am dropping it in the mail today. I have to say that all of these posting have me pretty stoked. After towing my trailor from Virginia to Arizona I really got to see just how bad the X was all over the road. I am ordering the swaybar next week so when I do receive my radious rods I will be ready to go. I think I speak for all of us X owners when I say thanks for offering us such a great enhancment for our trucks. |

Unfortunately, my desktop PC crashed yesterday ... first time ever ... have had it over 6 years. Anyway, until my new PC (ordered today) is finished being built (custom CPU ... not generic Dell, Gateway, or CompUSA), brought home, and made ready to run, I now have only limited access using a friend's laptop ... and honestly, I am not enjoying this thing. I just feel the ol' PC is not worth messing with. Fortunately, I was able to download all my personal records to a couple CDs ... so nothing was lost there. I'll be back up to full speed within a week. And once again, my many thanks to y'all! |

Hey Ken,
Sorry to read about your computer crash, but, trust me, you'll be much happier with a new computer. I'm getting tired of my "slow" computer, and it's only 3 years old I can't imagine using a 6 year old computer - nope, can't imagine it; wont' be prudent
Good luck,
Randy R...

The PC store called and said my 'puter was ready, but the MS-Office software hadn't arrived yet, and wasn't installed. I told 'em to let me know when it was complete.
Shipped two more radius-rod kits yesterday, and installed one today on Riceburner's X ... BTW, he did a real nice job installing entertainment screens in the backs of each of his front seats. I'm building more radius-rods, and have received many requests ... it just takes time .... a commodity I'm finding to be in short supply lately.
One last note. Riceburner had me install a Gen-II kit, but I did not have to cut notches into his metal bump-stops ('03 4WD 6.0L). His bump-stops were a different design than what I have. Instead of having a curved lower edge, they were straight ... and allowed enough clearance for the Gen-II axle clamps as is. |

How do Radius-Rod's differ in capablity for "axle-warp" compared to the product at http://www.activesuspension.com/ ?
It also professes to help the stability.I have the product installed and am wondering what I would gain with Radius Rods.
Thanks
