Hey there everyone !
Im new here but have been getting alot of excellent information from this site for a long time even before I bought the X.. I recently purchased a 2003 X, v10, 4x4. I have always liked the excursion but was very hesitant to buy one after test driving them on the hwy and around town they just did not handle well especially on the freeway but after getting the info from this site I did anyway !.

Well I took my excursion in to our local ORW shop and had them install a front and rear Hellwig anti sway bars Billstein shocks all the way around and a Fox heavy duty steering stabilizer and the results are just Phenominal ! Phenominal ! I took it around town and cornering is a breeze, bumps and dips cake walk ! and finally the part that I hoped would really change was the highway the wandering has absolutely disapeared ! GONE ! I actually felt relaxed no more white knuckling the steering wheel ! I actually took my hands off the wheel a few times and it ran straight as an arrow, I am so happy and I owe it to all you guys and this web site for all the valuable information and I just wanted to Thank you all ! and this web site !

I still want to get Landyots radius rods, that will be my next mod because Im still worried about axle wrap but for the most part my worries are gone . Thanks again X brothers and sisters I will be hanging out on this site for quite a long time to get even more info

Nelson Welcome to the Excursion forums

Congrats on the new rig the addition of the Hellwig makes a world of a difference all the way around night and day

Post up anytime with questions you may have no matter how simple they may be as the answers will be here in the X forums for sure

We've had our Excursion for almost 3 years but each time we go out on the road it seems like the first time that's how much we appreciate the fine machine
