The story
Bought it thinking I was going to build it to the hilt but in the two years I've owned it, I have had to replace engine and had a plethora of little problems that have nickle and dimed my budget for the build. So far got about $13,000 into it including original cost of vehicle and it is still mostly stock. At this point I think I am over the hump as far as keeping it on the road. It has become a quest and a labor of love. This truck has been abused prior to my ownership and it still looks good and runs great. I was just going to put a 6" lift on it, ended up going in the shop $840 worth of electrical work by a garage who by the way robbed me blind I'm sure. Talked em down to $600 for the repairs and will never darken their garage again. Not mentioning any names "Keller Professional Auto Service Parker Colorado". Anyway soon she will have a 6" superlift and an engine kit that will make it a 392 Ci beeeooootch. — Dave McNulty
