The story
Bought it for $500. Was told it had missing teeth on the flexplate and overheated because of blown head gaskets. I dug into these problems and found the starter gear stripped clean of all teeth. The truck ran fine then the gauge "said" it was overheating but the engine didn't act like it. I found out that the gauge was bad. installed autometer temp and volt gauges in an a-pillar gauge pod and all is good. Fuel milage SUCKS but I still drive it everyday. — dirtybronco287
