1985 Mercury Capri “My Baby”

The story

I have owned this car for five years now and only driving it for four months the first year. Car has sat in the garage on stands since.
Bought car from co-worker that moved from california to NY. An the third owner, Second reg. owner (Co-worker never reg. it just drove on 1st. owners tags. Good thing was best friends) Car was built by previous owners to run the cannons in california. Suspension has been upgraded with police front rotors, spindles, control arms, larger frt. sway bar, Subframe connectors welded in, adjustable rear upper control arms svo lowers, 2 rear sway bars (1 adjustable), Has frt strut tower brace, g-force bars, adjustable rear pan bar. Has 4- point roll welded in (Still can use rear seat), EXHAUST -- BBK equal leath shortie headers, Just installed BBK off road h-pipe this summer (Since Cal. car Came with y-pipe- split to duals after cat.), already had flow master muffers with stainless tail pipes.
Just took car covers off this spring determinated to get car back on the road this year!! Hope this can come true this YEAR!
I have decided not to modify the engine besides the cam because I'm going to give this car to my daughter when she is older (only 11). She loves this car alot always bugging me to fix it, so I don't do any mess it up. But I am looking for another one to make a track toy. — 85CarpiRSwny
