Now to get crackin' on the floor repairs. | 0.00 | | 06/28/09 | Modification | | Lots done Replaced the rear brake shoes, hardware, park brake cables and all of the frame mounted brake lines.
Replaced the fuel tank vent/vapor line
Repacked the front wheel bearings, rebuilt the calipers and replaced the brake pads.
Replaced the idler arm and Pitman arm and cleaned/checked the rest of the steering.
Installed the new 3500 stall converter and installed the engine and transmission.
Modified the transmission crossmember to solve an annoying noise problem. A few more odds and ends and it's on to the bodywork. (Yuck!) | 0.00 | | 06/20/09 | Modification | | Reassembly time. Cleaned up the exhaust system, repaired the stripped mounting holes and painted it with high temp aluminum paint (too cheap for ceramic coat), blasted and painted all the hangers.
